This week I photography Oro Design's latest project. The beautiful Mlinar Bakery was busy and packed full of people from early morning. The eye catching design stops shoppers as they come across the offerings at Mlinar.
It was an exciting place to photograph due to the amount of detail was put into it. Oro like to use natural elements in their design such as plants, wood, copper and bricks. The large pendant lights that hang at the back are woven and the bench tops are all marble. I like the white herringbone subway tiles and the wood panelling at the front of the shop. The hanging plants and lights above the customers and the geometric pattern on the mirror at the back look great together.
The brief with Oro is clean polished photos, pay attention to the details, keep all lighting natural and not use any flash and to get certain angles to compare with 3D cgi before images. So I use long exposure along with max f.stop which on my Canon 24-70mm L lens is 22. The long exposure time gets rid of people walking through the frame and also captures the natural lighting as it is. The f22 keeps everything from the foreground to the background sharp and in focus. I also do minimal edits just to polish the photos and make sure they look their best. The turnaround time for this was 24 hours.
I look forward to continued work with Oro, they are a excellent company and who inspire me as a business owner and are great to work with.
